Together since 2001, GMFTPO has centered around "A" on drums and "Dead K" on guitar with various bassists over the years. They've amassed a cult following outside of Japan and can hardly be found on streaming platforms like Spotify or Tidal. They are a must see group, frequenting spaces throughout Los Angeles when they do come state side. And a show being quite possibly the only place to pick up some of their tunes.

You can stream select songs from GMFTPO on Spotify, Tidal, and Apple Music. Be sure to follow them on Instagram to keep up.

By way of Tokyo, Japan, GMFTPO "Green Milk From the Planet Orange," surprises and delights around the world. The band takes everything psychedelic rock has to offer and makes it punk as fuck as only Tokyo locals can.

Setting up the stage, as any traditional band or road manager does. The drums go up first, then all the speakers, mics, cords, pedals, instruments, and that's usually it. The band can then grace the stage and hypnotize the crowd before them. Only, that's not quite how GMFTPO does things. As the band gets on stage, they look around, "Hey! Can we get some chairs?" The stage manager looks confused, "Uhh… Yeah, sure. For just you, or do you need more?" The guitarist and bass player set up in chairs on stage making it seem like some kind of chill jam session is about to occur. With a flick of the wrist and pluck of the stings a melody reminiscent of a classical masterpiece but with the rage of a punk rocker breaking down on stage floods the air.
