PIGEON is independently created, owned, and operated. We’re a small operation and putting the creator first in everything that we do.
What do we mean when we say the buzzword "creator?" A creator is the street busker, graffiti artist, local skate shop owner, record shop, the independent artist that has taken what they love and learned to balance it into all that life throws at us. All of which is too often overlooked in the everyday hustle, much like those rats with wings we see across the city (the pigeons). How did they end up where they are? What is their day to day like while creating? Just when do they find the time? We choose to dive deeper into those stories and the work in order to share them with the world, because sometimes you never know how much you’re actually doing unless you step back and take a look. You may even see that your journey is fairly similar to someone else or perhaps even inspire another artist's journey.
We just launched our first issue that is focused on Los Angeles, California. For this first issue we focused on artists, musicians, fashion designers, and local businesses that take traditional ideas and learn how to mix them with the madness of today, all while finding success in their own way. As we look forward at what’s to come in this journey of publishing and story telling, we hope that you join us in it. After all, flipping through a book just feels so much better than endlessly and mindlessly doom scrolling.

PIGEON is independently created, owned, and operated. We’re a small operation and putting the creator first in everything that we do, and at no cost to them. We proudly promote artists and musicians by telling their story.
We believe that without artists, musicians, street buskers, performers, or graffiti artists, our world would be pretty flat and gray looking. We also believe that their stories are truly inspiring in every way. How does someone take something that they love, or can't help themselves but to do, and make it such a part of their life that it is put on display? Whether it's for private display or public, we're curious about their story and just how they do it. Maybe that story will inspire another creator or remind someone just how far they've come.
