Morning, the air is brisk as the chill sweeps through the mountain monuments and then across your cheeks as you wake. Perhaps the sound of waves crashing against a steep cliff-face and gently raises you from your sleep. Or, you just woke up at noon in a daze after staying up until 4 in the morning to add those finishing touches to your next run of prints. For our next issue we turn our gaze to the EU and the deep historical creator culture of Spain. From the artists that adorn the streets with graffiti and the musicians that fill the daily stroll with tunes, to the meticulous garment designers and story tellers that might just be living next door; Spain has a true taste for the creator life at its best. Pigeon magazine aims to bring these artists and their stories to light. Diving deeper into the personality, process, and communities behind them all.

For this issue we’re looking for stories that circle around life as a creative in Spain. Whether it’s starting your morning with a rich espresso, breathing in the dust of your work bench, or strumming those final chords to that EP you’ve just put together.

Submission Deadline: August 10, 2025

High Resolution Images

Imagery submissions should be high resolution (JPEG) files that are at least 300 DPI.

Submissions should be at least 2500 pixels on the longest side.   

Complete or Outlined Narrative/Essay/Article

All submissions should tell a complete story. Most likely, that will require a written element. Written work should be between 600 and 2000 words sent via Microsoft document or PDF. (As long as our computers can read them though).

With all files, please include your last name in the file nomenclature.
